Family Caregiver Support Group Meeting

The Bangalore Chapter of Alzheimer’s & Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) are organizing a Support Group Meeting for carers of persons with dementia.  The details are as follows:

This platform is to facilitate caregivers to come and share their experiences, challenges and support each other.  Experienced staff will be present to facilitate this meeting.

                      Greetings from Nightingales Centre for Ageing & Alzheimer's !

Caregiving for elders suffering from dementia is not an easy task.  Caregivers need to understand and prepare for the caregiving role. Most often without help, the caregivers get tired and stressed and reach burnout.

Addressing to the above need, we are pleased to inform you that we are organizing a one-Day “Family Caregiver Training Program in Management of Dementia” on Saturday 16^th June, 2012 (9:30 am to 5:30 pm)

The aim of the training program is to let you understand dementia and manage your loved ones suffering from Dementia in the best possible way.  It is carefully tailored to the needs of a family-based caregiver.

Kindly Note:    A  fee of Rs. 1500/- is being charged per head to meet the needs of the training.   This fee also covers working lunch & handouts.
