Support Group Meeting

Dear Friends,


Caregiving is a strssful ordeal and we sometimes end up all burnt-out in the process. The journey that the caregivers sign on might be a long ordeal and they need to prepare themselves for what might be called the most unpredictable journey. One of the most important part of the preparation is to learn how to manage stress.


To this account, Nightingales Centre for Ageing and Alzheimer's along with Alzheimer’s & Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI), Bangalore Chapter is organizing a support group meeting to help caregivers of persons with dementia. The details are as follows:

Mr. Sachin Bahadur is a Mechanical Engineer from Regional Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. He is a certified 5S practitioner and Six SigmaBlack Belt Holder. Since 2005, he has been working as freelance trainer and management consultant in the area of Human Resource Development, NLP and System Improvement Practices

    Unfortunately I just found your website and seem to have missed this meeting. My parents live in Dubai and take care of my aging grandmother. As her caregiver, they seem to be pretty burnt out and I would like to know if there is a support group available for caregivers that meet electronically so that my parents may benefit from abroad.
